Please be sure your instrument is in good working order:

• The bow should be rehaired and the strings changed at least every six months.
• Be sure you have an extra set of strings in your case.

Equipment everyone needs:

• Electronic tuner

• Recording of the book or piece being studied

Note: I suggest you always call before going to any violin or music shop to be sure they have what you want and are open. All music stores will order what you want if it is not in stock.
